The Gathering of Vultures, published on Dec 23, 2023 the weekend of the WWI Armistice anniversary, that timing was significant for me. All the writers, at this certain paper, neglected the situation in Israel and Palestine. Knowing that this piece may go wrong —in good conscious I had to publish it. I am appreciative that the editor had the vision to publish it, but I knew inside she didn't want to.
